Compute the number of channels per cell if N=4.

If 36 MHz total spectrum is allocated for a duplex wireless cellular System, which uses two 25 kHz simplex channel to provide full duplex voice and control channel. Compute the number of channels per cell if N=4, cell reuse is used.

Total bw = 36mhz Single channel bw = 25khz N=4 Duplex channel bw = 25 khz * 2= 50khz No of duplex channel = 36mhz /50khz = 720 Total no of channels per cell = 720 /4 = 180 channels

Total Bandwidth: 36 Mhz

Channel bandwidth: 25 kHz * 2 = 50 kHz

Total Available Channels= 30MHz

For N=4,

Total number of channels available per cell= 600/4 = 150.
