Name various component with sketch.(10 marks) 2 (b) Explain the working of an electronic ignition system and its advantages over conventional system.(10 marks) 3 (a) Discuss radial and cross ply tyres. Explain various factors affecting tyre life.(10 marks) 3 (b) What is the critical speed of a propeller shaft? Explain the significance. Also explain with neat sketch various joints used to connect propeller shaft to final drive.(10 marks) 4 (a) Compare rigid axle Suspension and independent Suspension. Explain with neat sketches. Also discus objects of Suspension.(10 marks) 4 (b) Suggest suitable suspension system for the following category of vehicles.
i) Passenger Car
ii) 50 Seater Luxury bus.
