Given : VGS= 3V , VT = 1V, k = 0.15 mA/v2 ,λ = 0.03v-1 ,and VDS = 8V

Drain Current (IDQ) = k [(VGS - VT )2 (1+λ VDS )]

IDQ = 0.15[(3 -1 )2 (1+ 0.03× 8)]

IDQ = 0.744 mA

IDQ = 0.744 mA

The output resistance (ro) = 1/(λ IDQ )

ro = 1/((0.03×0.744×10^(-3) )

ro= 44.802 KΩ.

ro= 44.802 KΩ.
