Sealed bids in English are invited by the Chief Engineer, 5th floor, Engineering Division, Plot nos. C-14 & 15, Bandra kurla Complex, Bandra (E). Mumbai-400051.

For the work of Construction of a water treatment plant from the experienced contractors who are registered in appropriate class with the MCGM/CIDCO/PWD and have carried out similar type of work.

Scope of work: The scope of work covered in this bid consists of providing necessary labour, materials, construction equipment, tools and plants, appliances, temporary works supply and deliver to site, storage at site, construction works etc for the proper completion of work for Construction of a water treatment plant. The blank tender forms will be issued only on production of attested copies (along with the original for verification) of the following documents:

Valid Registration Certificate, Works Contract Tax NO. / Certificate, Sales Tax Registration Number/Certificate.

Payment of cost of blank tender form is to be paid by pay order/ demand draft, payable to MMRDA Fund of any nationalized or scheduled bank payable at Mumbai.

The blank tender forms will be issued to the contractors fulfilling following criteria:

Should have completed the construction of a water treatment plant work costing Rs. 30 crores of in any one year during the last 3 years and should produce the satisfactory work completion certificate from the officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

Should have average turnover of not less than Rs. 50 crores in last 3 years.

The intending tenderers should produce Solvency Certificate to the tune of 20% of the cost put to tender for the work.

Pre-bid meeting will be held on 5.08.2015 at 15.00 hrs in the office of the Chief Engineer.

Any type of influence during the process of tendering shall disqualify the tenderer from submission of his offer and further processing of his offer.

The offer shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the date of opening of the tender.

Right to reject any or all tenders without any reasons thereof is reserved with the authority.
