1. Learning or training is a process by means of which a neutral network adapts itself to a stimulus by making proper parameter adjustments, resulting in the production of desired response.

2. Broadly, there are two kinds of learning in neutral network:

   i. Parameter learning: It updates the connecting weights in a neutral net.

   ii. Structured learning:

   iii. It focuses on the change in network structure.

3. The above two types of learning can be performed simultaneously or separately.

4. Apart from these two categories of learning, the learning in an neutral network can be generally classified into three categories as

   i. Supervised learning

   ii. Unsupervised learning

   iii. Reinforcement learning
