1(a) Explain the roles of computers in manufacturing.(6 marks) 1(b) Explain any one type of plant layout.(4 marks) 1(c ) List any eight operations that can be performed on lathe machine and explain any four of them. (10 marks) 2(a) Explain any four SQC tools with sketches. (8 marks) 2(b) Following table gives number of missing screws in a assembly of parts. Construct C- chart with 3 sigma limit and comment on the process.
