The bond in RCC is the adhesive force developed between concrete and reinforcing steel to transfer the axial force from a reinforcing bar to surrounded concrete.

Bond ensures the strain compatibility from RCC.
Bond between steel & concrete can be iproved due to
- Use of rich mix
- Perfect computation and curing
- Adequate cover to steel
- Use of deformed bar
