  3. Safe

  1. Short – it is desirable to have short alignment between two terminal station .

  2. Easy- easy to construct and the maintain the road with the minimum problems

  3. Safe –safe enough for construction and maintenance from the view point of satiability natural will slope emnkment cut slopes foundation

  4. Economical–The road alignment could be considered economical only if the total life cycle cost considering the initial cost, maintaince cost & vehicle operation cost is lowest.
