Explain any two in detail.(7 marks) 3 (b) Explain the EDM method in detail.(7 marks) 4 (a) Describe any two methods of measuring horizontal angle with theodolite.(7 marks) 4 (b) The following consecutive readings were taken with the help of dumpy level 1.905, 2.655, 3.905, 4.025, 1.965, 1.705, 1.595, 1.256, 2.545, 2.005, 3.145. The instrument was shifted after the fourth and seventh readings. The first reading was taken on the staff held on B.M. of R.L. 100.000 m. Rule out a page of level field book. Enter the above reading there on. Calculate the R.Ls of the point and apply the arithmetic check.(7 marks)
