Data :
L = 300 m (Length of pipe)
D = 100 mn = 0.1 m (dia. of pipe)
F = 0.009
Diameter of nozzle d = ?
For maximum transmission of power, the diameter of nozzle is
$d = (\frac{D^5}{8fL})^1/4 = (\frac{0.1^5}{8 \times 0.009 \times 300})^1/4$
d = 0.02608 m
d = 26.08 mm
