Four Addresses:

1. BSS Identifier

4. Receiver Address

Duration ID: rest of duration to get next frame transmission

Sequence Control: Seq no. of frames of fragments

Frame Control: Holds info related to control type

MAC management:

• Packet fragmentation
• Roaming provision
• Support for time bounded data
