Equation of straight line is given as Y=a+bX ….(1)
Subject to
$∑y=an+b∑X \\ ∴24=6a-0 \\ ∴ a=4 \\ \text { And } ∑XY=a∑X+b∑X^2 \\ ∴46=0+70b\\ ∴b=0.6571 $
from (1) the question of straight line is $Y=4+0.6571X$
Re substituting X & Y
$∴y=4+0.6571×x-3.2855 \\ y=1.3142x+0.7143 $
