Assuming Ds = Number of redundant force R

CB 0 – 3 C -10 X ² / 2 = - 5 X² X
BA 0 – 2 B -50X – 10 ( X + 3 )² / 2= - 50X – 5 ( X + 3 )² X + 3

ΔL1 $= ∫ Mxx * M1 dx/EI = ∫0-3 (-5X²) * (+X) dx / EI + ∫0-2 [ -50X – 5 ( X + 3 )² ] * ( X + 3 ) dx / EI \\ = -1214.58 / EI$

δ11 $= ∫ M1 M1 dx / EI = ∫0 -3 ( X )² dx/EI + ∫0-2 ( X + 3 )² dx / EI \\ = 41.66 / EI$

Actual displacement at redundant = 0

[ D ] = [ ΔL1 ] + δ11 * R1

0 = - 1214.58 / EI + 41.66 / EI * R1

R1 = 29.15 KN
