  1. When Vin = 0 both diodes are reverse biased, hence Vo = Vin
  2. During positive half cycle of ac input signal, when Vin > 2V diode D1 will be forward biased hence output voltage Vo = 2V till Vin falls below 2V.
  3. During negative half cycle of ac input signal, Vin < -2V diode D2 will be forward biased hence output voltage Vo = -2V till Vin is greater than -2V.
