Conjugate Beam: An imaginary beam for which the load diagram is the $\frac{M}{EI}$ diagram.

  • Slope at a section of a given beam = SF at a section of conjugate beam.

  • Deflection at a section of a given beam = BM at a section of conjugate beam.
