Cortex M3	Cortex M4
It is a performance efficient processor.	It is a processor with DSP capabilities.
It does not SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) processing.	It has SIMD processing.
It does have Floating Point Unit. (FPU)	It has an on-chip FPU.
It is used in activity tracker Wi-Fi transceiver.	It is used in smart metering sensor fusion and high performance motor control.
