Sr no.	Launching of geostationary satellite	Launching of synchronous satellite
1	If the satellite is launched is at,latitude that is at the equator, this circular orbit with radius of 42164km is called as geostationary orbit.	If the satellite is launched from a non-zero latitude region, then the orbit will be synchronous orbit.
2	Inclination i is zero.	Inclination i is greater than or equal to the latitude of the launch point.
3	Circularization and inclination corrections are to be made to make the synchronous orbit geostationary.	No need for circularization and inclination corrections.
4	Jet thrusters are to be fired to make the inclination zero to achieve geostationary orbit for geostationary satellite launch.	No extra jet thrusters are fired.
5	Geostationary satellite is launched with as low orbital inclination as possible.	No such restrictions for Synchronous satellite.
