$\underline{ANALOG \ \ SIGNAL}$:-
It is an electrical signal where amplitude varies continuously over a specified range of time
It can take infinite values within the specified range of time
Sine wave is the example of analog Signals
$\underline{DIGITAL \ \ SIGNAL}$:-
- -It is an electrical signal which amplitude varies in discrete a specified range of time
- It can take only two discrete Values within the specific range of time
- Square wave is the example of digital system
$\underline{Analog \ \ System}$:-Analog Signal are process in analog system
- Accuracy is less
- Distortion is more
- System is less versatile
- Memory is not available
- Effect of temperature & ageing on performance
- Effect of noise is more
- eg:- Amplifiers, Power amplifiers, global generators etc
is more
$\underline{Digital \ \ System}$:--Digital signals are processed by digital system
- Accuracy is more
- Distortion is less
- System is more versatile
- Memory is available
- Effect of temperature & ageing on performance is less
- Effect of noise is less
- ex:- Registers, API, Counters
