The Aggregate producing equipment's are as follows:

  • Crushing plants
  • Rock blasting equipment
  • Screening plants.

Components of Jaw crusher:

  • Frame: It is constructed with heavy fabricated steel frame.

  • Jaw plates: Crushing surface of the jaw plates depend on the application. Manganese chromium cast steel is used for these jaw plates.

  • Hinge pin and jaw: A rigid steel hinge pin is clamped in the frame. The swing jaw assembly is fitted with the long sleeve bearings to distribute the load evenly.

  • Eccentric shaft and bearings: It is precision machined and polished. It rotates in heavy duty, self aligning roller bearings, held firmly in housing which are integral part of the ride frame.

  • Jaw adjustment: The size of product depends upon the distance between the two jaws on the full forward position of the swing jaw

Jaw Crusher:

  • Jaws crush the stones by compression.

  • The Jaw crushers are used as either primary or secondary crushers but are considered best for primary crushing.

  • These are suitable where lesser fines are desired.

  • These crushers have two jaws, one is fixed jaw and another is swing jaw.

  • The swing jaws are made of either manganese chrome-steel or heavy cast steel, annealed and stress relieved to withstand the tough crushing operations.

  • Generally the fixed jaw plates are reversible for longer life.

  • The capacity of the crushers is influenced by the size of product, nature and type of rock or ore.

  • Some rocks are brittle and shatter in one blow, while others are tough and break slowly.

  • For maximum production, uniform controlled feed is essential.
