Solution: molecular weight of benzene $C_6 H_6 = 78$

Molecular weight of $CH_3COCl = 78.5$

Molecular weight of $C_6H_5COCH_3 = 120$

$= \frac{120}{78} + 78.5 \times 100$

$= 76.67$
