If OA rotates at 200 rpm in clockwise direction, find the velocity of slider D by

i) Relative velocity method

ii) Instantaneous center method

Solution :

OA = 300 mm

AB= 600 mm

AC=BD= 1.2 m

$\omega=200 ~rpm=2094 ~rad/s $

1) Relative Velocity Method

By velocity relative Method

The velocity of slider D = 2.04 m/s

2) Instantaneous Centre Method
