2) It should be light in weight to reduce vibrations.

3) The size of turning fixture should be small so that it should not hit the bed.

4) It should be properly designed so that it should not obstruct cutting operation.

5) It should be rigid enough to avoid bending.

6) The extended part or projections of fixture should not harm the operator.
