Page Size	Larger than web page, fixed in size	Smaller compared to printed page,Variable size
Page rendering	Extremely preferable for reading and interpreting	Not highly preferred reading and interpreting
Page layout	Page layout is precise and more attention and efforts are imparted to it.	Web page are more approximated in their layout and they are plagued with shortcomings of toolkit design and users browser and hardware
Page resolution	Better	Not as great as printed pages
Page navigation	Only turning of pages required	Required knowledge of connecting links
Page independence	Printed pages are sequential hence can not be considered independent	Every page is independent
User focus	Entire set of information is presented to the user	Provide only individual snapshots of the total information with only few clues provided about the sequence and structure.
Sense of place	Paper documents give the users a sense of where they are amidst combination of text and graphics	Moving through web pages is not sequential and hence dynamic
Interactivity	The eye moves over static information	Eye remains static and the information can be moved by hand using scroll, expand, pointing etc
