Health hazards of improper disposal of e-waste are as follows:

  1. Due to improper disposal of e-waste, hazardous chemicals like lead, cadmium, beryllium, mercury and brominated flame retardants pollute the air at a high risk.

  2. It contaminates soil and leaching into water sources.

  3. If e-waste goes in landfill water, it introduces lethal toxicity which causes health risks range from kidney disease and brain damage to genetic mutations.
