Solution:

For Batsman A

$\begin{aligned} C \cdot V &=\frac{\sigma}{\bar{x}} \times 100 \\ &=\frac{5.1}{44} \times 100 \\ &=11.59 \end{aligned}$

For Batsman B

$\begin{aligned} C \cdot V &=\frac{\sigma}{\bar{x}} \times 100 \\ &=\frac{6.31}{54} \times 100 \\ &=11.69 \end{aligned}$

C.V. of A < C.V of B

$\therefore A is more consistent$
