Parameter Series circuit Parallel circuit
Impedance at resonance Z = R and is minimum at resonance $Z=L/CR$ and is maximum at resonance
Current at resonance ${I=\frac{V}{Z} = \frac{V}{R}}$ and is maximum at resonance ${I=\frac {V}{Z}=\frac {V}{(L/CR)}=\frac{VCR}{L}}$ and is minimum at resonance
Magnification factor It is the measure of voltage magnification in the series resonance circuit.
${Q_o=\frac{Voltage\,through\,inductor\,or\,capacitor}{Voltage\,at\,resonance}}$ It is the measure of current magnification in parallel resonance circuit.
${Q_o={\frac{Current\,through\,inductor\,or\,Capacitor}{Current\,at\, resonance}}}$
