mod 6 ripple counter require 3 flipflops

n flipflops - 2n mod counter

3 flipflops - 23 = 8- mod counter

This is called a ripple counter due to way the flipflops respond one after another in a kind of rippling effect

• The output of the first flipflop is given as input clock to the next flipflop
• The "T" input is taken "HIGH"
