Let Q1 be the heat flowing from T1 and Q2 be heat entering T2.

. η = 1- T2/T1

Maximum work = Qη = Q(1- T2/T1)

= T1(s2-s1) (1- T2/T1) …. (because Q = Tds)

= Q – T1(s2-s1)
