Let a = [-6,4,2] & b = [3,1,5]

The cross product of a $\times$ b is orthogonal to both a & b.

$$\therefore a \times b = \begin{vmatrix} i & j & k \\ -6 & 4 & 2 \\ 3 & 1 & 5\end{vmatrix} \\ = i(20-2) - j(-30 - 6) + k(6 - 12) \\ = 18i + 36j - 18k$$

Thus the vector orthogonal to both is [18, 36, -18]
