For the given circuit find the value of RL for maximum power transfer and calculate the maximum power absorbed by RL.

→ Calculation of VTH:-

For Mesh I
18 I1- I2(9)=0 ………………….(1)
For Mesh II
-9 I1+11 I2=10………………….(2)
From (1) & (2) we get.
I1=0.7692 A
I2=1.5384 A
In ACBA Apply KVL
-5I1+8(I2-I1) +VTH=0
VTH=5(0.7692)-8(1.5382-0.7692)
VTH=-2.3076 V
→ Calculation of RTH:

Redrawing the circuit

$R_b=\dfrac{8}{11}=0.7273Ω ;R_c=\dfrac{10}{11}=0.9091Ω ; R_a=\dfrac{20}{11}=1.8182Ω$

RTH=1.8182+[1.7273-1 + 8.9091-1]-1
=3.265Ω
